Innovations for more sustainable tyres

Goodyears are being produced as environmentally friendly as possible. Components of this philosophy are the BioTrend profile mixture, which is made from corn (!). Also, Goodyear was one of the driving forces behind the introduction of the EU tyre label. At the moment, Goodyear is researching the production of tyres made from renewable biomass.

Technologies to improve the feeling of driving

In addition to ecological production, Goodyear also works on technologies to improve the sense of driving and to increase safety. These techniques include ActiveCornerGrip and active braking for better cornering and better braking. With the addition of SmartWare technology, the tyre profile is re-profiled for increased aquaplaning safety while the EfficientGrip technology improves the grip level and traction.
